Job Title: Principal Systems Architect

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Principal Systems Architect, you'll play a critical role in designing and leading the development of advanced space systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end system architectures that meet mission requirements.
  • Lead the design and development of complex space systems, including propulsion, power, and communication systems.
  • Assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain system-level requirements and interface definition documents.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure system-level design meets customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in space systems development, including mission design and analysis.
  • Strong background in system-level design, development, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Aerospace, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with electric propulsion satellite missions and/or GPS commercial satellite missions.
  • Knowledge of In-Space Orientation and Navigation technologies and applications.
