Are you prepared to guide a vibrant sales team for the premier distributor of wine and spirits in New England? We are in search of a Regional Sales Leader who can motivate, strategize, and drive exceptional outcomes.

As a Regional Sales Leader, you will oversee sales performance in your designated area. Your role will involve leading and mentoring a sales team, assisting them in achieving optimal profitability and growth aligned with our corporate vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of all essential sales team initiatives to enhance sales, gross profit, market presence, and visibility.
  • Formulate the team’s strategy and vision to meet our divisional objectives.
  • Organize, prioritize, and implement the sales team’s activities.
  • Mentor and develop each sales representative, aiding them in refining their skills and realizing their full potential.
  • Effectively communicate and convey our business strategy to key accounts.
  • Promote a positive and energetic team atmosphere and corporate culture where everyone can excel.
  • Keep the team updated and educated on industry trends, data, and business solutions.
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and winery personnel to strengthen relationships and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives in the field, conducting regular one-on-one and team meetings to maintain alignment and motivation.

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Self-driven, enthusiastic, and always striving for excellence.
  • Continuously enhance your understanding of complex brands and sales strategies.
  • Possess a robust comprehension of consumer and brand marketing.
  • Demonstrated history of strong sales performance and capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excel in relationship building and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently, showing initiative and accountability for results.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
Education/Experience/Training:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; a college degree or relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Five to seven years of direct sales experience.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and registration.
