Compensation: Starting pay is $16.25 per hour, with a shift differential for overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

The Night Auditor will manage front desk operations and assist guests with inquiries throughout their stay. Responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently handling check-in and check-out processes to minimize wait times.
  • Providing a warm and professional welcome to all guests.
  • Responding to reservation inquiries using established scripts.
  • Addressing guest requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in the lobby and common areas.
  • Staying informed about hotel policies, room rates, discounts, and local events.
  • Keeping updated on upcoming events and local attractions.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Participating in required meetings and training sessions.
  • Adhering to company dress code and hygiene standards.
  • Ensuring guest confidentiality and key security.
  • Completing shift responsibilities as per checklist.
  • Balancing cash drawer accurately at the end of each shift.
  • Processing credit card settlements and no-show reservations.
  • Conducting night audit procedures.
  • Delivering final bills to guests promptly.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities, particularly in handling challenging situations.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the local area to provide directions and recommendations.
Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A clean background check.
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand for extended periods at the front desk and perform laundry duties.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Adapt to varying shift lengths based on seasonal demands.
