RN Surgery Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Surgery Leader to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Effectively use the nursing process to deliver patient care and make decisions that promote patient safety and well-being.
- Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies to educate patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate and delegate effectively with nursing team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Use data and information to evaluate and improve patient outcomes and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Embody the principles of customer satisfaction and employee morale, and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
