  • Scheduling and Staffing
    • Develop and maintain accurate schedules for the care team department, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing vacancies.
    • Manage scheduling software to track staff availability, absences, and time-off requests.
    • Secure replacements for absent staff members and coordinate coverage for vacant shifts.
  • Recordkeeping and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff attendance, absences, and time-off requests.
    • Ensure compliance with established standards and procedures for staffing, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and coverage.
    • Support and maintain positive working relationships with team members and managers.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Provide care to residents or pass medication as directed by management.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Caregiver Med Passer and/or Caregiver Lead experience required.
    • Experience in a healthcare environment, with staff scheduling or similar experience a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
    • Knowledge of personal computers and related applications.
