About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting and redesigning existing control systems, as well as handing off to the panel shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and redesign existing control systems
  • Hand off to the panel shop
  • Cost estimation for control system design and retrofits
  • Electrical/control panel and motor control center (MCC) design
  • Retrofit designs
  • Spec-ing parts and preparing and building BOM's
  • Troubleshooting customer issues via telephone as needed
Requirements
  • AutoCAD Electrical experience
  • Designing new and existing control systems
  • PLC programming understanding
  • Integration experience
  • 2+ years of Electrical Engineering experience outside of college/courses
