Job Summary

Kidder Mathews is a leading commercial real estate firm with a strong presence in the Western U.S. We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Property Accountant to join our Asset Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting the financial and reporting demands of our portfolio, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the integrity of tenant data in our property management accounting system.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports to clients, including account reconciliations, projections, and ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Partner with Property Accountants to ensure accuracy of journal entries and general ledger.
  • Prepare accruals for Property Managers and review cash management functions.
  • Manage accounts receivable process, including A/R analysis and collections.
  • Partner with the Property Team to review month-end close procedures and prepare annual CAM reconciliations.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of accounting experience, with 4+ years in the property management industry.
  • Proficiency in property management accounting systems (Skyline, MRI, Yardi, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
