Senior Staff Engineer, Master Black Belt

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Staff Engineer, Master Black Belt to lead our process improvement initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and excellence through the implementation of Lean/Six Sigma methods and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives across operations, engineering, quality, and business functions.
- Coach and Mentor Employees: Coach and mentor employees in variation reduction and process control proficiency, ensuring they have the necessary skills to drive business excellence.
- Project Management: Manage a portfolio of cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective execution.
- Technical Quality: Ensure technical quality of variation reduction and process control projects, identifying gaps in project execution and engaging resources to address knowledge gaps or execution gaps.
- Represent the Organization: Represent the organization in various forums related to Process Certification/Six Sigma approaches, developing standard work, procedures, and integrating industry-standard best practices.
- Advanced Degree and Experience: Advanced degree and 10+ years of experience in Program/Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Quality experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree and 14+ of relevant industry experience; OR High School / Tech School diploma and 16+ relevant industry experience.
- Certifications: Recognized ACE/CORE Expert, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of leading process improvement projects and managing changes.
- U.S. Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- Degree in STEM Field: Degree in STEM field; Engineering or Business fields preferred.
- Project Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ProCert/Six Sigma project leadership/management/coaching experience.
- Portfolio Management: Demonstrated proficiency leading and managing a large portfolio of cross-functional projects.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written), work and relate with people at all levels of the organization and be self-sufficient.
- Team Player: Effective team player, good coaching skills and can develop other co-workers.
- Statistical Knowledge: Proficiency in statistics, data analytics, DOE, and multivariate statistics.
- ACE/CORE/6 Sigma Certification: ACE/CORE/6 Sigma Master/expert level certification.
