Senior Manufacturing Engineering Master Black Belt

Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aerospace innovation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineering Master Black Belt. This role is pivotal in steering the deployment and execution of process control methodologies within key operational sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance employee capabilities in variation reduction and process control through coaching and mentoring.
- Collaborate with senior management and project champions to align project pipelines with business objectives.
- Facilitate project reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards through metrics and scorecards.
- Lead critical projects aimed at improving manufacturing process capabilities and quality performance.
- Represent the organization in forums focused on Process Certification and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Coordinate the development and dissemination of success stories to share best practices.
- Engage with product development teams to implement design for variation and robust design methods.
- Occasional travel to local suppliers to ensure quality compliance.
- Advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in Program/Project Management, Operations, Engineering, or Quality; or equivalent experience based on educational background.
- Certification as an ACE/CORE Expert or Six Sigma Master Black Belt is required.
- Proven experience in leading process improvement initiatives and managing organizational changes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
