MyCareersFuture is seeking a highly skilled Production Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing level 2 production support activities, including reviewing upcoming changes, resolving incident tickets, and raising problem tickets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal stakeholders, including incident management, level 2 and level 3 production support, data centre operation, and user operation teams.
- Work with various stakeholders to resolve major incidents and implement application monitoring, reporting, and dashboard solutions.
- Collaborate with the service automation team to implement monitoring and reporting tools.
- Document knowledge base to shift demand to level 1 production support.
- Support end-of-day batch runs and work with stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with relevant experience in technology solution or support service delivery in the banking/financial industry.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, including weekends and late hours.
- Experience in L2 or L3 production support.
Desirable Skills
- Understanding of ITIL and SDLC methodologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise tools, including MQ, Connect Direct, and Control M.
- Knowledge of monitoring, log analytics, and automation tools, including Geneos, Splunk, Ansible, Grafana, and Elastic Search.
Essential Technical Skills
- Familiarity with OS/400 systems.
- Familiarity with RPG and COBOL programming languages.
