Job Title: Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and other vehicle systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate with customers and management as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
