CNC Machine Operator

CNC Technician - 1st Shift (starting at 6AM)
Full-time Position
The CNC Technician is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of production processes on CNC machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all activities related to CNC operations and glass fabrication as necessary.
- Ensure accurate CNC fabrication of all glass products, including sorting and staging as needed.
- Maintain a tidy work environment by cleaning up breakages, disposing of damaged materials, and keeping workstations organized.
- Engage in activities requiring additional support and organization as needed.
- Conduct regular cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of machines, coordinating these efforts with workload and management.
- Adapt to changes in production schedules as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Achieve OSHA 10 certification as a CNC Technician.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cutting processes.
- Support the design and implementation of production Key Performance Metrics (KPMs).
- Help identify KPMs to achieve a fully accountable, 100% customer satisfaction goal.
INTERACTIONS WITHIN COMPANY
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cutting processes.
- Participate in weekly one-on-one meetings with the CNC Lead.
- Engage in daily production meetings led by the Manufacturing Manager.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling or feeling, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally.
- May exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently, and 20 lbs. constantly to move objects.
- Vision requirements include clarity of vision at various distances and the ability to distinguish colors and judge distances.
- Work is conducted in a shop environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor conditions, and loud sounds.
