Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and supervising a crew in the optimum and safe performance of their duties, ensuring the safety of all personnel working on the platform and the safety of the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise a crew in the optimum and safe performance of their duties and the proper care and maintenance of equipment.
- Act as Lead Operator on job site and ensure safe work practices are followed by all personnel.
- Inspect all equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition and maintain records of inspections.
- Direct the repair or removal of any unsafe equipment.
- Monitor all instrumentation and maintain a current crane operator certification.
- Assist in the investigation and documentation of any near-misses or work-related injuries.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 7+ years' experience in a related field
- Varying travel requirements depending on job site
