About the Role

Precise Systems (MD) is seeking a highly skilled DMSMS/Obsolescence Analyst to support our customer in Crane, Indiana. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) support to identify and mitigate obsolescence threats to airborne systems/subsystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obsolescence Research and Analysis: Conduct market research analysis and parts resolution for obsolete and replacement parts, and provide obsolescence research to verify and validate part numbers, part number availability, alternate part numbers, and national stock numbers for electronic parts and other components.
  • Supply Chain Management: Support the procurement, receipt, and storage of parts to ensure continued system supportability, and maintain a database of DMSMS information.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including government, industry, and original equipment manufacturers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: High school/vocational school or BS/BA degree in any field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of equivalent relevant work experience, with experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines; strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
  • DMSMS and Obsolescence Experience: Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence.
  • DoD SD-22 Guidebook Knowledge: Knowledge of the DoD SD-22 guidebook.
  • Supply Chain Engagement: Experience in working with suppliers and/or supply chain engagement.
Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
