Your Role

The Human Resources Coordinator will deliver administrative support to the plant's HR department. This role will emphasize recruitment, policy implementation, training, and various administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, well-organized, and accustomed to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. A solid understanding of Human Resources is essential. This position serves as a foundational opportunity for ambitious individuals to learn about the organization and advance their careers in HR.

Key Responsibilities:

The following tasks and responsibilities are expected:

  • Respond to routine inquiries requiring knowledge of established departmental procedures and familiarity with HR operations.
  • Provide essential resources to empower employees with the necessary information and materials (FMLA, LOA, ADA, Workday resources, HR Service Center, etc.).
  • Process HR documentation for employees, ensuring compliance with I-9 regulations.
  • Coordinate meetings and training sessions as requested by HR and Operations partners.
  • Assist in preparing correspondence as needed.
  • Monitor time and attendance records, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions, including training documentation.
  • Conduct exit interviews and compile feedback for analysis.
  • Complete special assignments and projects as required.
  • Act as a visible business partner, regularly engaging with employees on the production floor and fostering relationships across diverse groups.
  • Assist in HR-related compliance audits.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to remain organized, flexible, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of interacting effectively with all organizational levels and managing upwards.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources functions and requirements.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Previous experience with Workday/HCM systems is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented, fostering strong working relationships and a positive workplace culture.
