Quality Manager Job Description

At Tjm Industries Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead our manufacturing quality initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and sustaining our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure our products meet all established specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Function and drive all quality-related metrics for the plant.
  • Develop and sustain the QMS system to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Provide leadership to Quality Engineers and other staff personnel towards key quality initiatives.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts for Quality Improvements projects.
  • Be a Chief Problem Solver on all major Internal and External Corrective Actions.
  • Manage all key quality processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Utilize Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other quality tools.
  • Conduct quality audits daily throughout the plant.
  • Ensure incoming quality from suppliers is properly measured and corrective actions are initiated when necessary.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Engineering or Business preferred, MBA or Master's degree a plus.
  • Prior ISO implementation and sustaining experience is essential.
  • Green Belt or higher certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI tools related to Quality, including FMEA, PPAP, and Six Sigma.
  • Master Problem Solver with excellent interaction skills with internal and external customers.
  • Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer a plus.
