Job Overview

The Production Laborer plays a vital role in various departments, performing tasks such as general cleaning, making boxes, and specific activities tailored to each department. This position requires adherence to established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), BDG policies, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Exhibits detailed knowledge of assigned work area while adhering to pre-established guidelines and procedures.
  • Performs general cleaning within the specific department assigned, including wiping down, blowing down, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Assists in monitoring and operating in the work area.
  • Duties may include assembling/reassembling bulk bins, stenciling, strapping & sealing, or taping boxes.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by Department Manager, Supervisor, or Shift Lead.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
Work Environment

This is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions. Occasional climbing of stairs and/or ladders may be required.
