Job Title: Clinical Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Dietitian Specialist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

About the Role

The Clinical Dietitian Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the nutrition component of our Cardiac Wellness Program. This includes creating curriculum, presenting educational sessions, and providing one-on-one consultations to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutritional programs for cardiac patients, including curriculum and educational materials
  • Provide one-on-one nutrition consultations to individuals who have scheduled appointments
  • Assess patient nutritional status and provide care as described in departmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans
  • Evaluate patient progress towards nutrition and weight goals, and update treatment plans as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition and one to two years of supervised practice experience in foods and nutrition
  • Certified as a Registered Dietitian by the American Dietetic Association
  • Previous experience in health promotion and/or cardiac rehabilitation programs
