Job Title: Nurse Care Specialist

Location: Good Samaritan Hospital, Lafayette, CO

Hourly Salary Range: $37.17 - $54.53 per hour

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and psychological needs, developing individualized treatment plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Foster a culture of quality care, prioritizing the best interests of patients and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Oversee the delivery of care by LPNs and CNAs, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated support.
  • Participate in clinical team conferences to discuss patient progress and develop effective care strategies.
  • Comply with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and professional standards to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
  • A current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire or within 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
