**Position Overview:**

As a Senior NLP Engineer at Unreal Gigs, you'll play a crucial role in developing and deploying advanced NLP models and algorithms. You'll work on a variety of projects, from building intelligent chatbots and virtual assistants to analyzing and extracting insights from textual data. If you're a seasoned NLP engineer with a passion for innovation and a track record of delivering impactful solutions, we want you on our team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Model Development:**
    • Design, develop, and implement advanced NLP models and algorithms to solve complex language understanding and generation tasks.
  • **Data Preparation:**
    • Collect, preprocess, and annotate textual data for training NLP models, ensuring data quality and relevance.
  • **Model Training and Evaluation:**
    • Train and evaluate NLP models using appropriate techniques and metrics, optimizing for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
  • **Model Deployment:**
    • Deploy NLP models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.
  • **Performance Optimization:**
    • Optimize the performance of NLP models and systems, leveraging techniques such as distributed computing and GPU acceleration.
  • **Domain Adaptation:**
    • Adapt pre-trained language models to specific domains or use cases, fine-tuning model parameters and architectures as needed.
  • **Feature Engineering:**
    • Identify and engineer relevant features from raw textual data to improve model performance and predictive accuracy.
  • **Collaboration:**
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to deliver end-to-end NLP solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • **Research and Innovation:**
    • Stay informed about the latest advancements in NLP research and technology, exploring innovative approaches and techniques to enhance NLP solutions.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in NLP engineering, with a focus on developing and deploying NLP models and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and expertise in NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, spaCy, Transformers, or AllenNLP.
  • Strong understanding of NLP techniques and algorithms, including word embeddings, sequence labeling, text classification, and language generation.
  • Experience with deep learning architectures for NLP tasks, such as recurrent neural networks (RNNs), convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and transformer models.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with a passion for tackling complex NLP challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
