Job Description

The role of the Clinical Informatics Specialist at Springfield Hospital Inc. involves collaborating with clinical teams to provide support for electronic medical records and other clinical systems.

  • This specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of these systems, focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • An active member of the clinical applications team, this individual will strive for excellence in patient care by maintaining established standards and participating in system improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Function as a clinical system expert to coordinate EMR support and build, education, training, and project management for clinical systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical excellence through direct patient care and clinical systems improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a clinical specialty or higher is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical practice area of specialty, such as nursing, rehabilitation therapy, or pharmacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, including writing, editing, and web content management.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
