Job Summary

Springfield Hospital Inc. is seeking a skilled Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and developing our electronic medical record (EMR) systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality.

About the Role
  • This position requires a strong understanding of clinical systems, experience working with technology, and excellent communication skills.

In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Information Systems and Technology to coordinate EMR support, build education, training, and project management for clinical systems. You will also participate as an active member of the clinical applications team, striving for clinical excellence by maintaining established standards of care and practice through direct patient care and clinical systems improvement activities.

Requirements
  • An associate degree in a clinical specialty or a bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical practice area of specialty, such as nursing, radiography, or pharmacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Genuine interest in developing communication materials and web design desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams desired.
  • Ability to work self-directed and excellent organizational skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, and web content management.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
