Job Overview

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Completion of High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in the aviation sector is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) and FAA Conformity standards is preferred.

Position Objective:

  • Gather precise information necessary for the creation and examination of flammability test samples that demonstrate the flammability compliance of materials utilized in aircraft during the interior installation phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Quality Control inspections related to flammability concerns for the ODA and Repair Station.
  • Review and analyze aircraft documentation as required.
  • Complete necessary flammability request forms for the production of test samples.
  • Fabricate flammability test samples as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and legible records of all work performed on aircraft.
  • Document discrepancies and manage all work order documentation effectively.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for the next individual by completing turnover processes to maintain continuity.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely completion of projects on assigned aircraft.
  • Facilitate turnover for the succeeding shift to uphold ongoing inspection responsibilities.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
