Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Technician I to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive tests and ensuring the quality of our aircraft parts and sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform non-destructive tests (NDT) and determine product acceptability in accordance with prescribed methods and procedures.
  • Record, organize, and evaluate test results and enter results into applicable documents.
  • Ensure compliance to all radiation safety rules and regulations and provide protection to self and others during testing.
  • Maintain equipment and assure calibration for tests to be performed.
  • Maintain inventory control of area equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of NDT related experience required.
  • Must be able to obtain certification in one NAS 410 NDT method within 1 year.
  • Other Certification in and NAS 410 NDT methods preferred.
  • ASQ certificate (American Society for Quality) preferred.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a team-oriented environment and perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be required to work any shift and be available to travel up to 25% of the time.
