Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Associate reports to the Environmental Services Director and is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors at Hearthstone Leesburg. This includes cleaning common areas, resident units, and performing laundry duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean resident units as assigned, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
  • Clean common areas, including halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units
  • Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding resident laundry
  • Maintain housekeeping and laundry carts at all times
  • Ensure cleanliness of public restrooms
  • Communicate effectively with Environmental Services Director and other staff
  • Advises Environmental Services Director when supplies are in need of reorder
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Some maintenance experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Physically able to bend, reach, and work in small areas
  • Physically able to push and pull equipment
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
Miscellaneous:
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays as assigned
  • May be subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc.
