Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Specialist is a vital member of the Lifestream Behavioral Center team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of our facilities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine manual tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing.
  • Empty and decontaminate trash containers, dispose of infectious waste, and maintain equipment.
  • Move, rearrange, and dust furniture and fixtures, and mix or blend cleaning solutions as needed.
  • Clean and wax floors using industrial-size mops and machines, and strip and polish floors using buffing machines.
  • Wash blinds, windows, and walls with prescribed solutions, and sweep sidewalks, porches, and tiled surfaces.
  • Operate wet/dry vacuum for cleaning and shampooing carpeted areas, and maintain equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Preferred experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Must be over the age of 21 and possess a valid FL Driver's license.
  • Possess a safe driving record and a continuously valid US Driver's license for the past three years.
