Job Title: Pharmacy Intern Grad

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Intern Grad to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, dispensing medications, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers, including answering questions and offering advice on medication usage and interactions.
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves and disposing of expired or damaged medications.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving medications and supplies.
  • Support the pharmacy manager in analyzing performance data and implementing procedures for pharmacy asset protection and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
