In this position, you will engage in a range of professional tasks related to technical procedures for radiological diagnosis or treatment for patients across all age groups. You will perform multi-modality imaging procedures utilizing computer processing and injection skills as necessary, alongside other related techniques to generate images for interpretation by radiologists or other credentialed specialists.

  • Utilizes knowledge of patient growth and development to provide appropriate care.
  • Operates advanced technical equipment to capture high-quality images and performs IV contrast injections as required.
  • Handles patient processing tasks, which may include scheduling, registration, file management, and computer processing.
  • Evaluates, prepares, positions, and monitors patients with a high level of professionalism, care, and safety.
  • Adheres to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Contributes to the training of students and staff as assigned.
  • Maintains competencies and meets or exceeds performance standards for each skill performed.
  • Ensures required certifications are up to date and pursues personal and professional development through educational opportunities.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED, along with graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent training in Imaging technologies.

Experience: Preferred experience in CT imaging.

Licensure/Certification: AARRT registry or registry eligibility is required. If not registered in CT, registration must be achieved within two years of employment. AHA BLS-HCP certification is mandatory; additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on specific work unit needs.

Other: Strong interpersonal and technical skills, along with flexibility in job assignments. Ability to work independently and proficient computer and communication skills are essential.
