Job Description

At Equus, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Career Advisor to join our team. As a Career Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping our clients overcome challenges and achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized plans to support their employment goals.
  • Provide comprehensive case management and follow-up to ensure clients receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Conduct new client orientations and ensure that clients understand the services and resources available to them.
  • Work with schools, account managers, and management to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Facilitate professional development workshops and provide individualized assessments to help clients identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and ensure that post-placement contacts are made as required.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address client attendance issues and ensure that clients are meeting their employment goals.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and provide operational support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the business services team to identify job opportunities and develop training programs to prepare clients for these positions.
  • Develop and maintain a standard communication plan to keep staff informed of center-wide issues and their role in meeting operational goals.
  • Participate in training, capacity building, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Provide operational support and coverage as needed, including intake services and compliance-driven standards.
