Administrative Support Role for Academic Affairs Department

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide support to our Academic Affairs department.

About the Opportunity:

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to $25.00, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth in a dynamic university setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Academic Affairs department, ensuring seamless communication with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and events efficiently, utilizing calendar management skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to academic programs and initiatives, guaranteeing data integrity.
  • Coordinate communication between stakeholders, fostering strong relationships within the department and across the university.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations for departmental use, exercising creativity and attention to detail.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and external stakeholders, exhibiting excellent customer service skills.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures, adhering to established standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field, with a strong foundation in organizational skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a university or higher education setting, preferably in an administrative capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software, with a focus on productivity tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of academic affairs processes and procedures is highly desirable.
