Customer Service Tech
D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Tech to maintain high customer satisfaction by facilitating warranty requests and resolving issues after home closing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate homeowner repair issues to determine warrantability
- Process work orders and instructions from supervisor
- Perform repairs, including carpentry, drywall, and painting
- Schedule and manage subcontractors for warranty repairs
- Certify warranty work completion
- Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner
- Ability to work overtime
- Follow up with homeowners to address concerns
- Process charge-back documentation and invoices
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years related experience, including carpentry, drywall, and painting
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive among designated communities
- Ability to utilize DRH Warranty applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to 8 hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience
- Experience with minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair work
- Ability to work independently and be productive without supervision
