Machinist A 2nd Shift Position

Eaton Aerospace Group, a leader in the design, development, manufacture, and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems, and services, is seeking a skilled Machinist A to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Setup complex parts and operate machines without supervision.
• Interpret plans, work orders, blueprints, or drawings to determine necessary work required, with a full understanding of GD&T.
• Inspect parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, air gauges, and comparators.
• Finish all parts with different materials to close tolerance without supervision.
• Meet production and quality requirements at all times, maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in machining, honing, or lapping parts in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in machining, honing, or lapping parts in a manufacturing environment.
• Involvement in successful process definition and re-engineering.
• Experience in employee involvement in multi-discipline teaming.
• Proficiency with computer-based methods and tools.
• Familiarity/experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodology.
