Job Summary

As a Clinician Associate Licensed, you will provide high-quality clinical services to clients in a dynamic and supportive environment. Under general supervision, you will conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments, develop client treatment plans, and provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions. You will also coordinate care with the treatment team and external resources, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and a commitment to evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments of clients and document findings according to agency guidelines
  • Develop client treatment plans in collaboration with the individual, incorporating multiple sources of information as appropriate
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based interventions, demonstrating clinical knowledge in mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders
  • Coordinate care with the treatment team and external resources, ensuring timely communication and exchange of written and verbal information
  • Document services in the electronic health record according to agency standards, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree and licensure as a Master's Social Worker, Associate Professional Counselor, and/or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. You will also need two years of related work experience, computer efficiency, and the ability to multitask. Experience in using evidence-based treatments for mental illness and addiction is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

LCSW, LPC, or LMFT licensure is preferred, as is experience working with youth. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

Working Conditions

This is an outpatient mental health clinic office setting, with regular hours Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 5:00pm, with some evening and weekend hours as needed. You will need to be able to use a computer, telephone, fax, copy, and scanning machine, and be able to handle stressful situations with ease.
