The Oregon Health & Science University seeks a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join its team. The successful candidate will provide diagnosis, consultation, and treatment to individuals with spina bifida and complex feeding difficulties.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will work within an interdisciplinary model, coordinating clinic activities and having primary responsibility for case management and care coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialty care for patients with spina bifida, particularly related to bowel and bladder functioning, family coping, self-care, self-concept, growth, and development.
  • Consult with other community agencies and providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in education programs for patients/families, healthcare students, and providers, both at OHSU and in the community.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing, with experience as a PNP, including work with children with special needs and a solid background in child and human development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to function effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. A valid Oregon RN license and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive privileges and DEA number are also required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $115,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, OHSU offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options.
