Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year. We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric respiratory care and be able to provide high-quality patient care. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who share your passion for pediatric respiratory care.
Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic interventions including airway management, ventilator management, newborn resuscitation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood sampling, bedside spirometry, and spontaneous ventilatory parameters.
• Assist other healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
• Participate in training new staff members and students.
Requirements:
• Associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program supported or accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
• Current, valid Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner's (LRCP) credential issued by the Health Licensing Office for the State of Oregon.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
