**Overview**

The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is dedicated to creating lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk individuals. We strive to provide a continuum of housing and services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those we serve.

As a key member of our team, the Program Director will oversee the daily operations of our Fort Lyon Supportive Residential Community. Located in Las Animas, Colorado, this 350-acre campus provides recovery-oriented transitional housing to up to 220 individuals experiencing homelessness.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others while working collaboratively with our team to address the housing and recovery needs of program participants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and supervise all aspects of the program under your direction.
  • Collaborate with public and private agencies to address the housing and recovery needs of program participants.
  • Work closely with our Education and Advocacy Department on media relations and outreach efforts.
  • Oversee department contracts and budgets, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
  • Respond to crises in a trauma-informed manner, understanding and following related policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Previous experience in the nonprofit or public sector with grant oversight and strong budgeting and financial management skills required.
  • Prior management and supervisory experience required.
  • Experience in community-based recovery support, mental health, and substance use treatment disorders preferred.

Compensation

$86,000 - $103,000 per year, depending on total relevant years of experience.
