Job Description and Duties

As a key member of the Department of Water Resources, you will serve as the liaison between the Division of Fiscal Services and the State Water Project Analysis Office. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the operations related to the cost recovery requirements of the State Water Project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, prepare, and distribute required billings through analysis of documents designated for specific contracts and agreements.
  • Utilize SAP and Cost Allocation and Billing Systems (CAB) to download, manipulate, and analyze complex accounting data.
  • Apply independent research, analysis, and determination of the correct accounting methods available for recovery of costs allocated to SWP beneficiaries.
Requirements:

Successful candidates will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in SAP and CAB systems is essential, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
