Job Description and Duties

The Associate Accounting Analyst plays a key role in the Department of FISCal's multidisciplinary production support team, providing level two support and information to end-users who transact in the FI$Cal system while researching and resolving system incidents. The incumbent acts as a subject matter expert, with working-level knowledge in one or more accounting areas and/or modules of the system, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management (AM), Lease Administration (LM), Project Costing (PC), Grants, and Customer contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide level two support and information to end-users who transact in the FI$Cal system.
  • Research and resolve system incidents.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in one or more accounting areas and/or modules of the system.
  • Develop and maintain working-level knowledge in accounting areas and/or modules of the system.
  • Collaborate with the production support team to ensure continuity of departmental activities.
Working Conditions

The Associate Accounting Analyst works in a remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework for three or more days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days. The office is located at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, CA. Candidates residing outside of California are welcome to interview, but proof of California residency is required before appointment. Please note that relocation and commute expenses are the responsibility of the employee.

  • Ability to provide back-up, as necessary, to ensure continuity of departmental activities.
