Job Summary

The University of Kentucky seeks a skilled Nurse Clinical Ambulatory to provide high-quality patient care to individuals with serious acute and/or chronic cardiovascular health events or seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness.

This role involves conducting skilled assessments, developing and implementing care plans, educating patients, and performing clinical evaluations or interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide disease-specific patient care to patients with serious acute and/or chronic cardiovascular health events
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure timely and efficient care
  • Conduct patient education and clinical evaluations or interventions as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, and departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.

A basic computer knowledge, including MS Windows, Word, and Outlook, is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

ADN or BSN degree
