We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at French & Parrello Associates. This role requires a strong understanding of solid waste regulations and compliance requirements in NJ and the mid-Atlantic Region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through proactive client engagement and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Supervise and mentor project teams, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on solid waste management and environmental compliance challenges.
- Review and approve technical reports, plans, and specifications.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local solid waste regulations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality.
- Participate in proposal and business development activities to secure new projects and clients.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited four-year college or university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (NJ, NY and/or PA) or ability to acquire PE through reciprocity.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in solid waste management and environmental engineering.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of solid waste regulations and compliance requirements in NJ as well as the mid-Atlantic Region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and experience using MS Office 365, computer aided design tools and software including AutoDesk's AutoCAD and Esri's ArcGIS.
