The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP WorkforceNow and should demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
Oversee bi-weekly payroll for a workforce of 140 employees utilizing ADP. Ensure adherence to federal and state payroll regulations. Address payroll-related inquiries and manage wage garnishments. Conduct 401K reconciliations and ensure compliance during audits. Reconcile payroll deposits, taxes, and deductions, and prepare corresponding journal entries. Review and distribute W-2 forms.

General Accounting Assistance:
Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Provide necessary documentation for audits. Work on improving accounting processes for greater efficiency.

Accounts Payable Assistance:
Facilitate invoice verification and processing. Offer support during peak periods or in the absence of team members.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience. Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP). Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail. Capacity to maintain confidentiality. Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is advantageous. Experience in accounts payable and payroll/HRIS software is preferred. Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
