Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic procedures, positioning patients, and operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
  • Position patients for radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Operate radiologic equipment, including stationary and portable machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop, process, and maintain radiographic images, including x-rays and fluoroscopic images.
  • Assist in fluoroscopic work, including making clinical photographs and identifying images.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain equipment and quarters, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology preferred.
  • Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, or successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology.
  • Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques, as well as standardized radiologic clinical procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work individually or as part of a team, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work overtime as required and multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
