  • Contribute to Revenue Growth: Test and optimize optical circuits for customer-focused network solutions throughout North and South America.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Monitor and resolve Layer 1 and Layer 2 issues such as fiber outages, hardware failures, and optical network disruptions.
  • Collaborate with Field Technicians: Ensure physical continuity and verify end-to-end connectivity across transport equipment.
  • Manage Workflows: Efficiently coordinate with multiple departments to achieve project goals and ensure timely completion.
  • Troubleshoot Complex Issues: Identify and resolve issues related to orders, provisioning, designs, electronics, and vendor handoffs through comprehensive troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Extensive Experience: In optical fiber technology and network engineering, including LAN-WAN, WAN, and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and TCP/IP.
  • Expertise in Troubleshooting: Large enterprise network issues, with proficiency in IPv4, DHCPv6, subnetting, and multi-site communications.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Python for automation and data analysis.
  • Leadership Abilities: Manage large-scale projects in dynamic environments, with a focus on effective communication across departments and with vendors.
