Key Responsibilities

Global Control Standards
• Collaborate with various departments to conduct Risk Assessments on a regular basis (minimum once annually) for ongoing operations and whenever new processes or projects are initiated.
• Ensure that Key Controls are effectively designed to mitigate identified risks.
• Oversee the implementation of Key Controls for each department approximately quarterly and report findings to the Audit Committee, while also suggesting necessary remediation actions.
• Assist in evaluating internal controls related to systems in partnership with PwC and IBM.
• Engage in the annual testing of Controls and ensure that remediation actions are executed.
• Guarantee that Process Owners and Control Owners comprehend PepsiCo's Global Control Standards.

Enterprise Risk Management
• Spearhead the Enterprise Risk Management initiatives, including risk identification in collaboration with risk owners and the leadership team.
• Administer the annual risk survey and liaise with the corporate ERM team.
• Report and track identified and potential enterprise risks.

Audit & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to Statutory, Legal, and Taxation obligations, as well as PepsiCo's corporate and local business policies and ethical standards.
• Conduct walkthroughs across North Africa BU to verify completeness, identify process gaps, and enhance processes. Share findings with the General Manager and BU Controller.
• Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, and Statements of Assurance.
• Execute unannounced audits and physical inventory counts across all locations.
• Manage communications and requirements from the Corporate Audit team, including remediation plans identified during audits.

Standardization and Simplification
• Collaborate with all functions within the organization to analyze and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements in related business cycles.
• Ensure timely quarterly Self-testing in accordance with the sector calendar, coordinating with control owners across the BU and submitting test results to the sector.
• Benchmark audit findings against other markets and proactively discuss necessary corrective actions with process owners.
• Communicate GCS testing results to the Sector IC COE, including root causes of identified deficiencies and remediation strategies.
• Present audit findings, business process improvements, and associated business impacts clearly during audit closing meetings with relevant functions.

Compliance and Ethics
• Participate in investigations within the BU, recommending actions for control process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with the Compliance & Ethics team to monitor the implementation of identified actions across the BUs.
• Review status updates and investigation outcomes with Sector/BU Compliance and Ethics Committee.

Qualifications

• A minimum of years of experience in Finance, preferably within a multinational FMCG environment.
• Experience with a Big 4 firm is advantageous.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
