Job Title: Extrusion Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Extrusion Supervisor to join our team at Jobot. As an Extrusion Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the extrusion department, ensuring that all production processes meet industry standards and that our team operates in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the extrusion team, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor production schedules and quality control processes to ensure that products meet the required specifications.
  • Train, mentor, and guide team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain thorough production records, tracking all relevant data and producing reports as required.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as necessary to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Implement and enforce safety rules and regulations, ensuring that all team members adhere to best practices.
  • Continuously assess and improve production processes, implementing changes as necessary to increase efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in metals extrusion or similar role in the metal industry.
  • Knowledge of aluminum, casting, extrusion, and metal operations.
  • Experience with requisitioning materials and maintaining production records.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard software and equipment.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
