MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Sutter Coast Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized MRI procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Responsibilities- Competently perform MRI procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
- May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
Sutter Coast Hospital is a 49-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving a population of approximately 43,000 in Crescent City, California, and Brookings-Harbor, Oregon. We offer a range of services, including emergency department, intensive care, surgery, obstetrics, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, and home health services.

Requirements- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist or ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire
- 5 years of experience in a similar environment
- General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- Capable of performing routine MRI examinations and understanding human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
