Position Summary: We are currently in search of a proficient Welder to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the assembly and fabrication of metal structures that serve as the backbone of our infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to operate potentially hazardous machinery while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints and accurately measure to devise layouts and procedures.
  • Choose suitable welding equipment or techniques based on project specifications.
  • Prepare components for welding in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Utilize tools to ready parts for the welding process.
  • Align and join components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Conduct repairs on machinery and components through welding techniques.
  • Examine welded structures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment to uphold safety protocols.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in welding.
  • Knowledge of various welding equipment and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as saws and calipers.
  • A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • AWS Certification is advantageous.
