Oral Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Oral Surgeon to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pediatric dental services.
Key Responsibilities- Examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions to provide optimum care to patients.
- Consult and educate patients and their families on dental status and required treatment, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
- Collaborate with other specialists, such as restorative dentists and orthodontists, to plan treatments.
- Administer anesthetics to limit patient pain during procedures.
- Perform surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, and tumor removals.
- Provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
- Conduct research on defects, diseases, and disorders affecting the oral and facial regions.
- Dental Doctorate Degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Arkansas Dental License.
- Oral Surgeon License.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Experience working with pediatric patients.
- Knowledge of pediatric dental care and treatment options.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
