Job Summary

Western Dental is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral Surgeon Assistant to join our team. As an Oral Surgeon Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our Oral Surgeons in all aspects of treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Oral Surgeon at the chair during patient treatment.
  • Anticipate the dentist's needs and be prepared for next steps.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Dental Board, and WDS policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient treatment records.
  • Take Blood Pressure and provide pre and post-operative instructions as directed by the Oral Surgeon.
  • Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients.
  • Stock supplies and inform Floor Supervisors of needs.
  • Perform duties of a Sterilizer as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with patients and staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified RDA in the state of practice.
  • Current X-Ray License.
  • CPR and ACLS certificates required, OMSA or DAANCE preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
