This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our RF Communications Systems team, you will be responsible for providing operations and maintenance support for large-scale RF Communication systems operating in real-time 24/7 environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide preventative and corrective maintenance support across multiple external interfaces over a robust multi-tiered network.
- Direct interaction with ops customers and mission partners to provide technical assessment and operational work-around recommendations.
- Perform daily activities such as discrepancy report work-off and resolution, O&M training/mentoring, trending, procedure development, data collection, fault isolation, and performing real-time manual actions to restore system capabilities.
- Assist in the development of troubleshooting/recovery plans and execution of associated management and customer briefs.
- Participate in corrective maintenance, which may require remove/replace, repair, and testing of failed hardware.
- Knowledge of RF communications antennas and networks, IT systems, and real-time software applications supporting communications systems.
- Current TS/SCI clearance and ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, leadership experience on small maintenance teams, and information technology experience with an IAT level 1 certification.
- Proven working knowledge of varied test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum/link/network analyzers, power meters, and signal generation equipment.
- Knowledge and experience with facility support systems for RF terminal systems (power, HVAC, etc.) and prior military electronics and/or satellite communications training/experience.
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant, professional experience or equivalent experience/combined education (5 years of experience with no college degree).
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
